Crane Birds duvet cover set

The Netherlands' largest hospital, Amsterdam UMC (formerly VUmc and AMC) asked SNURK to redesign their bedding. This resulted in this colorful origami crane print. What makes it extra special is that the paper birds you see were folded by the hospital staff. They ended up folding more than 1,000 of them because according to Japanese tradition, this brings prosperity and good health. Fortunately, you don't have to end up in the hospital to sleep under this bedding because the print is also available in SNURK's bedding collection. Moreover, from every Crane Bird cover sold a €1,- goes to Cancer Center Amsterdam, where research is done on cancer medicines and better treatment methods.
